David Collins serves as District-level Technology Director for the North Chicago School District 187. With extensive professional experience implementing technology in an academic setting that spans nearly ten years, David is an innovative leader that focuses on ensuring students have access to the best technology for their learning inside, and outside of the classroom.
This experience includes operational and instructional technology, technology management, student information systems, and network management. Over the past several years, Mr. Collins has coordinated the North Chicago Schools One-to-One plan with Chromebooks, rolled out a complete overhaul of the wired and wireless infrastructure, and oversaw the technology design and implementation of the brand new, state of the art, Neal Middle School in North Chicago. Illinois.
David and his partner and new daughter live in McHenry, IL.
