A Latina Lake County native, joined the ConnectLakeCounty team as Program Manager in 2023. She is a first-generation college graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in English Studies and Spanish Language.
Their professional history includes: mentoring college-bound high school students via holistic, academic, socioemotional and college navigation supports, working within the finance industry supporting client transactions, investments, and advice needs, teaching collegiate level marching and music to high school youth, and various other customer service roles.
Through these experiences, Taylor built strong skillsets in analyzing language and details, critical thinking, innovative solutions, and intersectionality focused community building. Taylor is passionate about people and connection.
Her favorite quote is, “Be the person you needed when you were younger” (Ayesha Siddiqi). They believe there is always an opportunity for inclusivity and developing meaningful relationships with whoever we meet.
